Yarnell Hill fire

Just turned on the news, been disconnected all day. Absolutely horrible news. We just went through Yarnell 2 weekends ago and were amazed at its beautiful setting. I've even been looking at properties online I like it that much. It was 3 days after our drive that the Prescott fire started. It was really dry up there all the brush was so brown.
I have no words regarding the firefighters. So tragic.

Just got word that one of the dead Firefighters was the boyfriend of the daughter of my best friend.

Horrific doesn't begin describe what has happened to 19 Firefighters, their family, their friends, and for the people of Yarnell and Peeples Valley who lost their homes, businesses, property, and way of life.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to the firefighters and families at the Yarnell Hill Fire here in Arizona. The fire has already taken 19 firefighters lives and sad to say the fire is still going strong

My co-worker just told me that her relatives probably lost their old ranch; and a friend of her's from Prescott came down to stay for a few days found out last night that one of her friends was one the Hotshots.

Degrees of separation...makes my stomach churn

My father in law lives in Peeple's Valley and evacuated. Luckily his house is still standing but they won't let anyone in the area. It looks like most of the city at this point is safe.
