Rock Krawler, what LT tires sizes (on 17" rims) do you consider 33"?

As the title states, given 17" rims, what tires sizes are considered 33" in LT? I've got the Rock Krawler 1.75" Budget Boost Long Travel system installed on my JKU. Before this kit was removed from the Rock Krawler website there was a statement that said "it will allow for up to 33 inch tall by 12.5 inch wide tires."

So...are you referencing tire manufacturer stated 33", or as measured when mounted 33"?

1.) 285/70/17 - 32.7x11.2 = real world mounted about 31.75"
2.) 255/80/17 - 33.1x10.0 = real world mounted about 32.50"
3.) 295/70/17 - 33.3x11.6 = real world mounted about ????"
4.) 285/75/17 - 33.8x11.2 = real world mounted about 33.00"
5.) 34x10.5 = real world mounted about 32.44"

Which of the above are considered 33" tires?

By manufacturer stated size, 1, 2, and 3 above seem to be 33" tires. 4 and 5 appear to be 34' tires.

But by what I have found as actual mounted size, they all seem to be 33" tires (or smaller)...

I want to go as big as I can without further mods, but I am nervous to go to 285/75/17...

Any input? Thanks in advance!

Yea you are all set for a 33 or 34"
34 it is then....only doing dirt/farm/forest roads, overlanding, no true rock crawling...now just to find a local shop to do the mounting (and purchasing if I don't take advantage of a forum discount here).

285/75/17 Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws installed!

Here are some before (255/75/15 KMs + 1.75" Rock Krawler Budget Boost) vs after (285/75/17 A/T3Ws + 1.75" Rock Krawler Budget Boost) pics:

Rear tire before vs after:

Front tire before vs after:

Spare on stock carrier, touches 3rd brake light arm and bumper. But it actually makes it "snug", not "squished:"

This shows the gap between the rear tire and the rock rail, as well as my Sahara against a stock Sahara:

Only rubbing so far was in reverse with my wheels cut hard left. Still need to flex the suspension a bit to see what else will or will be close to rubbing. I do have 1.5" spidertrax spacers if I need them. Right now the tire is just under the fender, if I install these, the tire will be well outside the fender.

I didn't get a pic, but I put these 285/75/17 unmounted tires side by side to the same unmounted tire in 35x12.5r15, and height wise there may have been a 1/2" difference, probably a little less than that.
