Coming off of this weekend's excitement I want to go ahead and get this on everyone's calendar is early as possible. Badlands is hosting their September Trail Ride on th 18th and 19th. I plan to be there and anyone else who's considering making the trip this thread is the place to chime in!
Badlands Off Road Park - Indiana, 4x4, ATV, motorcycle riding, sand dunes, mud pits, rock crawling - they still have the info for August's ride on the homepage because registration is still open until Wednesday but I talked to them this morning and the September info plus the registration form for September should be up on the site by the end of this week. Alternatively, the only difference is the dates so I sent in the August registration and just scratched out the dates to insert the September dates.
According to their website it is $35 for one day or $60 for both days. This is higher than their general admission fee but it's a guided trail ride and it includes grounds not available otherwise. I did what I believe to be the same grounds during the JJ and it was a lot of fun but nothing even a stocker like myself couldn't complete.

So its pretty tough? Cuz I'm up at college and don't wana drive the jeep to hard cuz if anything breaks or anything bad like that ima kida screwed haha
Nah, I don't think it was tough at all, just new and challenging - and my Jeep is also my daily driver, so I know what you mean about being screwed by trail-related damage.

I gotta admit that sounds like a blast even after the 7 hour drive but I'm kinda a jeep virgin ( ghead and chuckle ) I mean I'm no stranger to mud but mud is pretty easy driving in it's just stand on the skinny pedal until you are through it or it blows up but the technical driving is the part I have not mastered yet I'm sure my jeep ( stock as a rock ) has more ability than the torque monster chevy pickup I had so is this trail run one that I could go on and learn or do you have to be a pro to run in it ?
