ok, i have an 05 se model, what kinda axle and gear ratios came in these badboys, i cant find squat on line about it. i have the 6 spd 4 banger. im gonna slap bigger tires and a 2'' bb on it, so i wanna know what i have so i can change out the speedometer gear to read right.

I believe that you have 4.10 gears in a Dana 30/35c (front/rear) combo. The speedo gear is unrelated to all of this. The change in speedo gear tooth count should be in reverse proportion to your tire size change. If you go from a 30 to a 33" tire, you have a 10 percent increase in tire diameter, so you should have 10% fewer teeth on your speedo gear to show proper speed. In a good service department, they will help you out with the proper gear if you tell them what you have done.

My last jeep had 33's and 4.10, which you probably have. With the 33's the difference for me was 5 mph at 55 mph, so I was really going 60. I was going to get a gear but I just remembered my pace speed and never did.

Check the tag on your rear diff, or, get a build sheet from a dealer. As far as what speedo gear you need...
