99 jeep need help

Just bought my first jeep looking for advice . When I'm driving and take my foot off the gas it makes a whistle noise sometimes and sometimes not.It drives fine just annoying.Any help would be appreciated thanks.
99 jeep with 107,000 miles 6cyl auto

I was going to say the tranny as well. But I recall mine doing that sometimes as well. Check the airbox connections. Unless it gets bad or louder or worse in some way I think your okay.

sounds trany or gear related unless you have a bored out throttle body, they can whistle to.
