it's got 4 wheel drive really?? wow thats's crazy....

Sorry I couldn't resist

Welcome to the forum!!!

Let me say from recent experience that if your going to get a cold air intake I hope you don't plan on off roading b/c they are wide open and get hosed with water and mud trust me, keep the factory intake if your going to off road in water or mud, if not K&n or airaid that's what I got it sounds nice.

Cant help on the intake, though other opinions on this forum have turned me off to them. If your staying on the road fine, grab one. Otherwise, dont bother or you will spend all kinds of time cleaning it (or so I hear...).

As for the exhaust, I put on the Banks Cat Back Monster and couldnt be happier. Power increase? maybe, but pretty negligible if there is one. Same story on gas mileage. But it sounds way better than a six ever should, so I am thrilled with it.

i have a magnaflow and looovee it! i didn't bother buying the damn $500 kit though. just bought the universal muffler then had meineke fab a 2.5" tail pipe and welded it all in for $90. $70 for the muffler off of ebay. i have a video from earlier this summer of the sound. i'll add the link after i update it to youtube... earlier this summer i put in an aftermarket air intake, but i'm thinking about gettin rid of it and putting the stock air box back in cuz of all the dirt and mud.... we'll see i might make a cover for it...that'll be a spring project.

i removed my cat, went 2.5" piping from the midpipe to the tail with a flowmaster 40 series. i had the muffler welder after the cat it sounded good but when i removed the cat and put a straight pipe in its place.... WOW what a difference in throatiness muchhh deeper tone and more raspy. best part i have passed emissions the past two times i have went reasoning is cause wranglers do not have an o2 sensor after/before the cat. they are up at the headers. for cars 95' and above all they do is stick the obd2 sensor in the port, see if you throw a CEL for emissions and if theres no code or engine light your golden have fun and it sounds awesome.

PS... get a snorkel instead of a CAI. thats actually functional, wont get water in the intake unless your going threw the ocean and its about the same price.
