Center Console Lock Question

My center console doesn't lock with my ignition key.. Are they repairable or do they need to be replaced?

It works just fine and holds securely when closed, but just doesn't lock.

Thanks

Timber

When i got my jeep i had the same issue. Put the key in and lightly pull up or down while turning it. It will lock. It takes a nack, once you figure it out you'll have no problems.

Lol. "I have to use one handle to wiggle the lock, but more of a wiggle, not a jiggle. Then with my left foot, I tap the brakes four times, then with my right pinky I flick the side of the console. I then make a phone call to my local Jeep dealership, have them electronically unlock it, spell out my name in the air with my right foot, and bam, it pops right open. No worries at all." Haha.
No disrespect meant here. I wasn't trying to make fun of ya.

Man when I first got mine, I tried out the push, pull a little trick and the damned lock cylinder came out on the key.
