| Color Possibilities?
Hey everyone. This is going to be an overused, and (hopefully) opinionated post, erring on the side of "newb-ness", but I've been asking everyone I know what they think of what color to paint my TJ. Color options, and things like that. I've been getting black a lot, and I love the idea of black with the exception of how hard it is to hide scratches, which will be common-place for a regularly offroaded Jeep. So first, what sort of input can you give me into what you think about what looks nice on Jeeps. And secondly, input into the "blacked out" Jeep look, because chances are, I'm going with black Soft 8s (but no one says I couldn't powdercoat them). Any pics of a "triple black" jeep like this? (I guess the soft top counts just like a convertible top would) The only ones I've been able to find are of JKs. I want to have something unique. Any ideas that anyone has had in their head for years, that even MIGHT look neat on a TJ? I'd just like to see what everyone has to say. Pics are very much welcomed. Thanks so much.

when i asked that about my cj, a lot of people said rescue green (on the jk) and orange was a popular choice too. imo, the blacked out jeeps look good, but it's too much for me to do on mine.
in response to your sig. yes we can, it just takes a few tries .

Blacks looks good cleaned up, probably the best color around. Impact orange is a cool color too. I passed up an impact orange TJ and wish I would have gotten it.

DODGEKT81, I love that color on a Jeep! I always wondered what a Jeep would look like with one of the High Impact colors on it.
Thanks for posting it!

I have a silver 01 with black rims and black top, looks nice and is easy to keep clean, but i would slap a coat of that green on there in a second!
If i were going to paint my jeep i would paint it a color that was not offered from the factory but that is just me.

I would keep it yellow. A Jeep is one of very few vehicles that actually look good in Yellow. (The big yellow Ford F-150 my husband used to have, on the other hand, did not!)
As for other color options, ours is "electric lime green". It's a color that grows on you... |

I really like the look of yellow wranglers. And by adding some black accents it really sets it off. My goal for this summer is to pull the hinges and paint em all black and get black soft 8s. Then bring some yellow into the interior.
