| Dana 44 Axles
Hi, Just wondering is it possible to buy a 'Stock' Jeep Wrangler Sport with Dana 44 front and rear axles. My neighbor has an '02 Sport and claims it has these. Say's he ordered it from the factory this way. I've seen them with Dana 44 rear's and 30 front. Just curious.

Thanks guyz. Could he have ordered a sport with the 44's ? This is possible, right? I'm going to look tomorrow to be sure. He indeed did order alot of 'optional' equipment when he purchased new.

That's what I'm thinking. He's my neighbor and I hate to call him a liar.. Lol.
But was just wondering if it was possible to have gotten one from the factory this way, a Sport, not a Rubi.

This is the 30 pattern.
Very easy to distinguish between the two |

It could be entirely possible to order a 44 for the front if you were completely ordering a rig from scratch. However DC did not start using a 44 in the front until 2003 when the Rubicon model was debuted. So the 2002 that your neighbor has does not have a 44 in it.
