Got my lift kit and started installing it today. How do you remove the factory bump stops? I have to get the stock orangeish ones off and install the 5.5" ones that came with my RE LA kit. Thanks.

pull them real hard. they are pretty tough to get off. also put a screwdriver or something flat on them and hammer them out.

i used a pair of channel locks to get a god grip on the rubber, try to twist back and forth while pulling down.

Spray some wd-40 on them too(part that they slide off) that may help the fighting some but go eat bowl of wheaties and get to it!

If a god grip can't do it, I don't know what will. Sorry, couldn't resist. Jma20a and the others are right. Use some muscle.

Thanks. Ill give it the god grip and pull. Either that or hook the winch to it.
