| Full Door Question
Okay, I bought a set of used full doors yesterday, the passenger door is in great shape, the driver's door needs a little work. I think the driver's door may be slightly bent, because the top of the door seems to stick out just a little while the bottom of the door is flush -- and the passenger door does not do that, fits flush all the way. Anybody know if a body shop can slightly bend the top of the door inward so it fits better??

Place it over something with the outside of the door facing up and do it yourself. Make sure the window glass is rolled down first and be gentle to just bend the upper door frame inward a tad at a time.

Just curious but where did you get your full doors and what did you pay for them?

Be careful doing what Jerry described. The thin area where the top part of the door meets the lower where the window starts may split. I've noticed on my passenger door there is a crack. I think the previous owner had the doors off and let them just rest creating a weak spot.

But if he's gentle and moving the upper window frame just a tad inward, he should be fine.

Okay, I took it to the body shop. Read the threads and checked the door, there is a crack at both the front and back of the window frame and I was afraid I would muck it up and make it worse. Bodyshop will bend the door and make it fit right, weld the cracks and repaint the door for $500. I found the doors on a craigslist ad, afraid to tell you what I paid for them! LOL
