Gear Swap Questions

I've got a 05 TJ w/ D35. I've done a budget boost and stuck on 31's and now I'm looking to get rid of the 3.07's and go 4.11's as it will probably never see an Interstate highway. Will I have to change the carriers? If so, what's the cheapest way to do the swap. (Donor vehicles, junk yards....) I'm putting the wife through college so every penny saved is a penny invested in future Jeep parts.

Thanks

Yes, you will have to change the carriers too.
Cheapest route is to find someone with a 4-banger that regeared - the 4 cyl's come with 4.10's.
I found a set of gears/carriers/etc with 7000 miles on them at a swap meet for $75. Cost me $450 to have them installed.
It was definitely worth it. No more clutch slipping at stoplights and offroad it makes a big difference. FYI - I'm also running 31's and went from 3.07's.

Thanks tdad,
Looking through the catalog I kinda figured I would have too. Will the carriers out of older XJ's work? Tons of them in the junkyards around here.
