Hard top wiring
Hi All,

I got my 03 X soft-top a few months ago and I'm considering installing a hard top. How should I get power to the rear wiper and/or defrost? Can I install factory On/Off switches?

I would prefer clean, factory style wiring and switches over home-made circuits.

Any suggestions?

your welcome... and welcome to the forums.

But if you buy an older hardtop (97 - 02 model year hardtops) to put on your 03 jeep then you'll need to get this other, more expensive, universal adapter kit instead...

The hardtop that fell in my lap last week has a wiper as well as brake light but myself don't think I'm gonna hook them up. I had no idea a wiring kit would be that much.
I need to see if I can remove the brake light.
