Alright guys so today i got a unheard of deal for my hardtop.... 50 Dollars, Perfect condition with one broken window hinge that i fixed it 20 mins, Defroster wiper and light! but any way my jeep didnt come to the wires to hook up to the wiring harness so what do i do,i cant find anything online i was wondering if you could post a link up... Also i was wondering if i could save a couple bucks and split up the harness and run my own switches...thank you!!!

Post what year the jeep is and what year the top is. The top connectors are different 02-03. You must get the kit for your year jeep and if the top plug is different you need the adaptor or make one.

How can you tell what year the top is?

Their are only 2 types.

97 to 02....Will have a vent in the top behind the side window.

03 to 06....no vent in the top....jeep moved it to the tailgate of the jeep.

Be sure to get the harness kit for your year TJ and add an adaptor if you do not have the correct year top. The harness kit includes the switches washer bottle and back washer pump.

Alright so i believe i have a 98 top on a 04, it has a harness that goes into another clip,What do i need

You need the harness for a a late model (04) TJ. You can find discount Mopar dealers on line and on Ebay.. Then you need a Jeepasaurus adaptor that will get you from the small plug on your 04 TJ to the big plug on your early model top. The early top has a dome light, and the later top does not. That's why the plug is bigger. And, the hardtop dome light will not work unless you add some custom wiring.
