Default Hi-Lift mount ?

Hello.

Iīd like to mount my Hi-Lift on or better in my TJ. It should better be in the inside becaus ether eare too much thiefs around here and it should also be protected against mud.
Please show some pics how you mounted your Hi-Lift.

Thanks in advance.

And yes I asked the same about 2 years ago but for me there wasnīt a good solution.

You could store it in that little spot inside the tub, behind the roll bar, and inside the tailgate. My buddy keeps his there and rigged up some attacment points to secure it to the roll cage on each end . . . not sure if GenRight makes the right size for this application, but this is a similar set up to what my friend has.

Jeep Articles / Technical and Installation (Hi-Lift Mount for less than $5) - MoabJeeper Magazine

This is how I mounted mine, although mines a little lower, so the person in the back seat doesn't hit there head on it. I've had no issues for 3 yrs with it this way. Cool and cheap mod!

Yeah that's pretty much what my buddy did too ... he just lowered the highlift down so it rests on inside the tub where the roll cage ties into the tub. His top works fine with it.

Looks good to me. I have the bikini top setup with a back window and the rear cover over the rear seats. My only concern would be the thief issue but I'm sure I can come over with something...
