Interior Illumination #2...

In all respect blacktooth, I'm making this thread to help out fellow jeepers. Now when anyone decides to search for illumination, they have another one to check out. Hopefully this one be 4 pages long.

My Jeep: 97 TJ SE, (4cyl. Manual) Original Cluster bulbs:#74 Original HVAC bulbs(2 of them): #37's

Got the bulbs for $1.99 a piece from LEDwholesalers. I highly recommend them, first class mail from CA got to Maine in three days.

"3 SMT LED T5 Mini-Wedge Bulb" Aka: size 74 in Blue and White

Bought 13 lights in total for a total of $30.49 with shipping for the cluster HVAC and spares

Followed all of the directions from the other threads...

Tried to do the HVAC, but kept blowing the bulbs, so i think I need a bulb that draws less current...ill add the pics when i get that one figured out.

Since there are no walls between the guages, the white lights merged in with the blues, i think it looks pretty nice.

here are the pics: the pics really doesn't do the job any justice, they look awesome in the dark.

In focus the white lights are very brilliant and look great.

Shows more of the blue color... Basically if you look at past posts around this forum you'll find white and blue clusters. However, I could never stare at one color forever. Putting the white lights in the center brings out the red line in the techometer and makes the whole dashboard really look nice. I also like how as you move further up the spedometer guage the lights get ever more blue.

ill try to get some better pictures up sometime soon. This camera of mine is terrilble.

No offense taken.

And yeah, I do have to admit that mine is pretty long.
