is it worth it??

Jeep : Wrangler : eBay Motors (item 1... 19:58:56 PDT)

Hello this will be my first post. I have been on here for a while and i have been wanting a wrangler very badly.

It does have a salvage title (it was stolen) but it has never been wrecked. I called the guy and he says it looks like it has 28,00 miles and is in pretty good shape.

Is it worth what he is asking for??
Thank you
Brandon

The book price is close to the asking price and it doesn't look too abused.

i would not trust buying something like that over ebay, especially a salvage title.

Stay away from it. It already has a lift, the wheels were removed and the factory put in place, it has seat covers hiding whats underneath it?. Rubber floor mats hiding whats underneath it? Not showing the whole motor, Looks like a rust spot on drivers side front fender bottom. Not showing you the whole inside. No way a 99 with a lift has only 28k. AND A SALVAGE TITLE=RUNNNNN! You can get a same year jeep from a private owner for same or less in better cond. Trust me.

I have to agree with this post, I'd stay away from it, 6k for a Jeep around here is the best price you could ever get, but you don;t know what your getting unless you go look at it yourself

I would not purchase a jeep with that low milage and a salvage title. Does not add up. Plus this is not the original owner, just someone selling it. He may have purchased it from a auction or somthing, striped it of its wheels and bumbers, cleaned it and reselling it. You don't know what your getting. You already have second thoughts about it otherwise you would not have asked for any replies. Go with your gut. My gut tells me no, I've bought alot of vehicles and sold alot. I personnely would not even make an offer. You'll know the right one to buy when you see it. Your gut will tell you.

Dude..stay a way. I promise you that seller has the upper hand here by a long margin... Yes there is a price for everything but the odds that it will be fair for you on this rig are very very small....unless you are a pro and know you can flip this thing for a quick buck you ae begging for an "education" that won't come cheap in the long run. Good luck!

THanks again for the replies.
He did actually buy it from a auction. It does not have a back seat or spare tire as you can see. He has owned it the past eight years though. I think i will call him and make a low offer. It is a 2 hour drive so i really dont want to waste my time
