I have a sailcloth top, and it doesn't really live up to the advertised noise reduction. It is heavier and looks nice, but it still flaps, bulges, and makes the thunder sound as it vibrates at high frequency at highway speeds. I would only recommend this if you need to replace the top. I do like the tinted rear plastic though.
There was a company up in Canada that used to make an insulated liner. It partially covered the windows too. They claimed it made it warmer and quieter. I always wondered what would happen if you just cut a quilt into segments, and resewed it to fit the dimensions of the top. Then you just velro and tuck it in. Might help.
