Question Ok WTH???

So my break warning light in the dash is always on. E-brake pulled, it's very bright, released, pretty dim, but still on. I have no problems breaking what so ever, and thing has gone on since december. Now that's it's getting nice out, I wanna fix it (full break job not needed yet), but have no clue where to start. Oh yeah, rotated my tires a month ago, and it went away for a few days. Am i missing something here? Oh, no ABS either.

this may sound dumb, but check the brake fluid in the master cyl, make sure it is full.

My 1st thought as well. Then be sure to check your pads.
