my engine light is on for this code has anyone had this code. what did you do to get rid of it?

has anyone messed with the purge system ?

I had that code once in my 03 Ram. Something with the "Purge System". Had the Purge Solenoid replaced. That fixed it.

P0441: Evaporative emission control system, incorrect purge flow.

Somethings wrong with your EVAP Canister purge selenoid, or lines running to or from it.

damn I must type slow, cause when I started no one else had sent anything lol

lol thx no noone has touched it but truck sat two yrs

ok well i took the purge solinoid from another truck drove it around. 50-60 miles the code came back. p0441 incorrect purge flow or something like that. i checked all the lines all are tight and crack free all the way to the tank.

just for the heck of it i took the two vac lines off the purge solinoid and reversed them. lets see what happens ...

I currently have the same code thrown P0441, but mine comes and goes so I dont know what to think. One possible problem when I ran the code was a faulty/leaky gas cap. Keep me posted on how it turns out! Thanks

No joke this code went away after reversing the evaporate hoses off the purge solenoid
