I'm looking at purchasing either a reece hitch or a bumper that has the receiver already mounted in it. I found a website that had the dual rear tube bumpers with 2" receiver for 150$. That sounds like a great deal.. Which receiver will carry the most load, the Reece under the frame, or, a tube bumper assembly that has one mounted to it. I would guess the Reece, but, I'd rather hear it from the folks that "know".
Thanks again, Chuck |

The Reese will be stronger but you'll lose departure angle.

skeeter's right on both accounts. MOST (if not all) tube bumpers have a disclaimer that they are not rated for towing. I removed my tubes and installed the MOPAR rear rock crawler bumper. Plan to add a 3500 tow bar (mine's an LJ) soon, so I just did the research you're starting.
