Question Voltage gauge.

I wonder if someone else has the same problem as I have, once in a while my volt gauge goes all the way to 19 and the check gauges light starts to blink, once I turn off the jeep every thing goes to normal.
I went to discount ant I asked them to check the amp or Volt regulator in the alternator and the tester says that every thing it's ok.
And like I said it has being only 2 times . Everything works ok.
any advice???
Btw I have a 00' Sahara 5spd and I recently change the stereo.

Thanks.

First step should be to clean and tighten your battery connections. If the alternator doesn't have a good clean tight connection to and from the battery to tell it the battery's condition, all kinds of shenanigans can occur.

If that doesn't help, next check, clean, and tighten all the other major ground cable connectors where they are bolted to the chassis and tub.
