Windshield washer nozzles clogged ?

Alright, so I went to use the windshield washers this morning and nothing. I could hear the motor but no fluid. Came home this afternoon and went to check it out, pump works fine but both the in line valves and the nozzles are clogged with soap. I thought I could just buy new ones but I guess they are a dealer item.

What and how the hell do I get these clear of soap ? I'm soaking them in c.l.r. after using carb cleaner but.............I guess I could move to N.Y.C., don't they have windshield washers on every corner ??

Stick a pin into the nozzle part on the hood. Possibly clogged there.

I have stipped about three inches of stranded wire, cut off a piece and used it to clean the hole out. you can reset the angle with a round toothpick.

Thanks but I did that. These things, the inline valves and the nozzles all had a major coronary of soap build up. I've been soaking them in clr but I'm thinking I'm going to have to get new ones. Does gas desolve soap ???

If you decide that you want to replace them send me a pm. I have a 97 TJ that I am parting out and I will sell the squirter nozzles and valves.

It's not likely a soap buildup, more than likely its a hard water (calcium) build-up inside the squirter that is plugging it up. Like hard water deposits that can clog a shower head. Using a shower cleaner for hard water deposits like X-13 may help clean out the deposits.
