Charleston Area

Hey guys/gals, looking for places to go in and around Summerville, Goose Creek, Charleston Metro area. I don't think I want to risk Light Road without a winch and some floaties, haha, I've seen many pics of rigs beefier than mine up to the door handles in water out there. I've heard that there is someplace in Mt. Pleasant to get into the national park, but I can't find it. Seeing as how utility eavesments are "No Tresspassing" areas if you get busted I'd like to stay legal. Any ideas as to where to go?

Hey Lowcountry'ers. About the only place local you can do anything is the Francis Marion Natl Forrest. Check out http://www.palmettojeepclub.org and join the local forum there. These guys hit the forrest a lot plus do group trips up-state and out of state.

haha that brings back some memories on light road, I got stuck there like 2 or 3 times and my buddys in a ford f250 had to get me out.

But anyways there were some areas by the Hatchery in Moncks Corner, I used to go offroading there all the time, but I don't know if you can still go over there...
