I'd skip the "Rock Monster" package altogether. They are charging $9500 for what is basically a $3500-$4500 or so package, depending on what wheels and tires you get.

The side steps, grill inserts, fuel door, mud mats, grab handles are all probably Mopar selectable items, available on any Jeep you order. So maybe $600 - $700 there, 17 inch tire and wheel package, maybe $2200 or so, 3 inch BDS lift is $803 on their website.

Up to you, but I think 5 grand for installation (of basically just a lift) is a rip off. Call some shops and ask them what they charge for a lift, all the other things you can do yourself, they are not difficult by any means. Plus, you will then have an extra set of wheels and tires for winter or you can sell them off.

Off course, if you do it yourself you void their warranty. That may be a big part of the 5 grand.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks guys for the help...my thoughts were they should discount the jeep approximately $3000 and the package should be discounted $3000.....most dealers here in md are discounting their wrangler unlimiteds right around $3k....the $9500 package seems more like they have about $5k invested. Am i unrealistic to think a fair price for that jeep is $33000?
