Do the passes have an expiration? Or are they good for 365 from date of purchase. I got the county pass last year but never paid attention to when it expired.

Is that nassau? Does that fall under the state beach permit?

ohhh you're talking about the meadows, the old race track, yeah that is a hot spot, they locked it down good. the hunting cameras in the trees will catch your plate also. i wouldn't go in there not worth it.

I think gilgo has been closed for a couple years. But I was at sore thumb about 5x times after sandy. Most of it is still there because demo point blocks alot of the waves. But the passes were only good till December 31. I think it opens again on April first.

I myself wouldn't risk it. My buddy went and got a nice fat ticket. New york state park police. And I'm pretty sure you can't even get to gilgo right now. The east bound side of ocean parkway where gilgo is got washed out and is closed and under construction. But yes sore thumb does still exist. Your choice

They diverted both directions of traffic to the west bound side only for a few miles. The road by sore is untouched. Just go the regular way. I haven't been there in about a month so Idk if anything changed

Other than gilgo, democrat and sore thumb, do u or anyone else know of any other places to go in the area? I have the empire pass and will renew my 4x4 fishing permit for this upcoming season.
