Hey All.. I have a 06 Wrangler Se that seems to be having a windshield issue. I've replaced 3 windshields in the past month an a half but to sever cracking which i think is due to the defroster. The cracks start off at the base of the windshield and work their way straight up. This has happened each an everytime with the defroster on. They start alil right of center also which has happened every single time. Has anyone else had this issue?? any advise would be appreciated

The defroster will do it, but usually only if a chip or crack is existing. The rapid change in temp is what does it. Your wind shield frame may be bent or putting pressure on the glass at the point where the the crack starts.

do you have any pictures of this? sometimes seeing it can give use a better idea. has the same place replaced the windshield all three times? does the windshield seem to be crooked at all? that could be putting stress on the glass in that spot and when the heat hits the cold glass it cracks it.
