Installed 18/59 springs and rubi take off shocks today. Darkfire gratefully extended his shop and knowledge with the install. (thank you again) See you guys at Twin Peaks on the 9th.

Nice Scampers! I finally had the lift completed, just waiting on my rear bumper to get here from Hanson Offroad so I can mount the spare. But here is my new baby!

That sucker barely cleared my garage door opening!

I have a 89 with a 5 speed and it's stuck in gear. Worked and shifted fine, parked at the grocery store. Came out few minutes later...... Stuck. Thought I could push it back out of the space while someone held the clutch and feather it home. It won't even roll. Like something fell into the gears and lodged in place....... Any ideas?

Maybe something failed in the clutch? Was the clutch feeling weird lately?

Nope..... perfect. And I can push the clutch, start it, and it's in gear. it wants to go, but can't like something is between the teeth on the gears. I had to have list a pin that holds a shift rod or..... Something. I guess I won't know until I open it up . Anyone have tow truck???

I wonder if I could tow rope it and hold the clutch in the whole time. I don't live far from where it is.

That won't work either. What if I put the t-case in neutral?

if the clutch is in and it will start then it is one of the following:

transmission
transfer case
front axle gear
rear axle gear.

you can try putting the transfer case in neutral. if it goes and then rolls, then it is the trans mission.

if that does not work disconnect the drive shafts (front and rear) at that point it should roll unless the front or rear axle gear is seized up.

We got it pulled to his house but no time to investigate. Smooth as butter.

I'll probably end up pitying a new tranny in it, but it ask take me a little time to save a little money. I was laid off for a couple months, so cash is a touch short. I should be ready by march though. Hopefully sooner.
