Well this sucks.

That mount is apparently only for ONE specific CB and not universal at all.
Quadratec Exclusive JK-CBM11 - CB Radio Passenger Side Mounting Bracket for 11-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK with Factory Center Console - Quadratec

No where does it say that it's only for that one CB. It says their experts recommend the 510, but nothing else.

Return it ASAP. I got a universal cb mount from amazon.com for $8. http://www.amazon.com/ROADPRO-Adjust...ersal+cb+mount. -- We have prime so it was free shipping. I'll get some pics later but I mounted it in that same location. You simply just pull up on the black plastic and line up where you want your holes and drill. I had a scrap piece of metal plate that I mounted behind it to shore it up. My cb is nice and solid on the trail. Now I just have to get the radio working.

I bought a new coax since the old one was a handme down. No I think my issue is proper grounding of the swing gate. Joy.

Oh yeah my radio is a full size and I have room to spare with the cheap route. It will fit any size full or small.

Well I'm thinking 1/8 plate, but we can go thinner and it is what ever material cost ( you come with me and buy it) my time is free (+beer) to fab it. And of course borrow your SWR

Let me see if I still have some more of that plate. It was salvage from some old electronics equipment.

Budget Transmissions near Wyoming and Lomas. Lots of recommendations of this shop from my local board.

Just send them an email thru the contact us link. Tell him you need the covers for the side airbags.

I had a cheap plastic C clip snap on me so I decided to fix it by threading the straps thru some holes in the rails. Works even better now. The clips didn't let me get the angle needed for the rear tie down. So I recommend the thread method.

4wheelparts. $89 for the top and $49 for the header. I am super pleased with the tuff quality of it. Smittybilt. I want to get the mesh top next so that I have both. The solid is good against rain and sand storms. The mesh has a uv rating and they say it let's the wind in as if you were topless.

I know this isn't the for sale thread but I thought I'd post locally. I am selling my pioneer 10 inch subs in boxes.

Shoot me a pm if you'd like photos, asking 150 for both

Thanks for this! That gives me a better idea as to how that channel is oriented. I can't even get the top off until I get back from NYC in two weeks.

I don't have that torx adapter (#40 I think) to undo the bolts that secure the top to the upper frame in the back either. Yeah I can put on a lift, but I had to borrow Fred's tools and had never seen a torque wrench until that day. Do they make tools with multi colored tie dye handles? I'm too cool for pink, but not butch enough for black or orange
