What part of town are you in?
Ne heights. Most 10 lingo is still used. I do ride alongside with a sgt buddy. The common stuff. 10-4 etc 10-20 are used.

But I commute from tramway and Montgomery to paseo and San Pedro. So was asking to see if anyone was using cb in town and shooting the shit etf

No where does it say that it's only for that one CB. It says their experts recommend the 510, but nothing else.
So ended up getting a compact CB that will fit the mount and will just sell my UNiden PC68XL. I like the location that this mount gave me, so I figured I would hang on to it. I had planned on cutting one of the mounts off and fabbing a larger mount, but I think a full size CB in that spot just wouldn't work very well.

Got everything installed today, the antenna mount, cb mount, cb wired to the sPOD . I really like how everything is fitting so far. Should be a good mod.

That's where I put mine after Tim assured me it would be solid. I like it there and will put up a pic in awhile. The only issue is you can't move the passenger seat all the way forward.

Here's my pics. My wife was worried b/c I was putting it on her side, I assured her once I lift the Jeep she won't even want to ride in it.

I didn't feel old until I read this. I had a CB in my dads garage in the 70s and then moved it to my Land Cruiser in 80. Have had one ever since. It saved my life in Dec of 1980 when we broke down and almost froze to death.

Sorry Ken! I have pretty much had one in every vehicle I've had, even my '95 Oldsmobile!!

Not 'til Sunday night. I have a hand held cb that the kid and I were using the other day. He asked me why we didn't just use phones.
