Those look great JT, out of all the Jeeps I've owned and built I've never done that mod, I really like the look and function of the mod after seeing them on Freds. Let me know if i can help and also with the sway bar, I always have room in my garage and most tools to help.

We could get some sponsors life 4 wheel parts and all proceeds go to a children's charity. I know there's at least one person who works with big brothers big sisters. Just a thought to ponder. We also have someone who is very good with dealing with sponsors.
I still like the idea of doing a toy run for the kids who are without. Could be another big brothers big sisters idea.
I myself have no expertise in these areas but I am willing to do what ever is needed. Would be fun.

Lilnick that started the Abq 4x4 fb pg. I would assume that BBBS would have plenty of kids at Christmas time that could benefit from a toy drive. I don't know much about their org but I would like to get involved. I love doing for others that are in need. So any insider info would be great.

Just an FYI, we (nmoffroad/nmvjc and Outlaw Desert Racing) have been doing a Toys for Tots run the past handful of years. 4wheelparts, trucks unique, etc. are all usually a part of the run as toy drop offs and stops along the route for it. 4wheelparts is generally our last stop and we do some hotdogs and stuff, as well as a raffle.

Not to take away anything you guys want to do at all, just spreading the info. We'd love to have more jeeps involved in ours, but also understand if you want to do your own thing as well.

If it's already set up that makes it easier right? Where do they send their toys?

I'm game. Where can we find info on past and future events? I don't know how to organize such an event but I've seen pics from runs in other states. I would rather just join an existing event. I'll be signing up on the next one for sure.

The Marines organize the Toys for Tots events across the nation

This was part of our haul a couple of years back (one of the best)

Marines (I was pleasantly surprised that a friend of mine and former employee got to show up and represent the Marines that year)

Sam from Coyote 102.5 helping with the raffle

Not really. A month or so out we start a thread on the forum and start getting the word out. I'll cross-post it here when the time comes.

That actually reminds me, it's about time to remind the organizers to get to organizing and planning

Typically, there's a short pre-run in the Puerco that AM (a couple of hours to play in the dirt), then a run in town hitting the stops along the way to the final stop.

I but we can do better on the toy haul! We could make a big impact if everyone from the meets were to join in.

having a little experience in these kind of things:
1 if there is something in place then dont reinvent the wheel.
2 planning needs to begin 5-6 months before the planned event
3 And Finally advertising is critical and should start 2 1/2 - 3 months prior to the actual date of the event to achieve Maximum turnout and to avoid conflicts with other scheduled events.

Thank you Sir! I'm sure we could add to the numbers.

I might be able to gather a couple of "extra" corporate sponsors.

Steve do you have access to a list of all the current sponsors?

I will get some details this week for everyone that wants to help out. I'm not the "official" organizer, though.

Well I guess I do end up being the organizer most of the time or try to help keep things on track.
