We went to the show on Friday and the first thing my son noticed was the car seat.

Hi everyone. Been MIA since the new school semester began. I'm so tired of looking at my bone stock jeep and am thinking of going with a modest lift and tires for now. The game changer is going to have to wait. I will want to regear, get a bigger front axel and some 35" tires. All of that is too much monies for me right now

So, in that case, Darkfire, or anyone else, where are the good deals on modest lifts? I've not had time to seek them out, but I'm hoping to feed Darkfire and anyone else some beer over my spring break weekend in exchange for help with mods, assuming I can obtain a lift and such by then.

Question is how much do you want to spend on the lift? Labor not included and What are you looking to achieve?

I needed to go for cheap for not and went with the rough country for $300. Got the coils with shock relocation brackets. I would recommend something better though. I'm super happy with my lift and I was able to do it by myself in about 3.5-4hrs. Maybe a procomp or Rubicon express? Are you looking for just a few inches or a 3"+? I work for food and beer always. I would love to help. I have Saturday- mondays off. When and where?

I am looking to spend about 1200 maybe? I have to factor in another 2000 for wheels and tires, because I want 16" wheels with smaller back spacing and 33" tires. As far as what I'm looking to achieve, well, I want to take BJ out and wheel her wherever a $1200 lift will take her. My ultimate goal is the game changer lift, but I'm wondering if I should go with one of the lesser lifts made by Metal Cloak, so I can build up to the game changer when finances allow. I also can't afford to regear or upgrade my axels yet, which I will want to do with the game changer and 35" tires.

I will hit you up when the time comes. I'm thinking spring break time (mid March). I should have my tax refund by then. I'm off wed-sat, so it seems we have only one day off in common. A Saturday will work, so long as it can be done in a day If the offer from Darkfire to bring my JEEP to his shop, that's where I'd prefer to go. I don't have any of the tools necessary, and I imagine getting it on a lift would be the easiest way to get it done.

Google maps.. 18th st se 87124 Rio rancho @ rainbow blvd.
Look for Ventana Ranch. Rainbow runs north thru the center and towards Southern. If you go north you would end at a Rio Rancho school across from Rainbow Pool.

At Irving and Rainbow you will see a water tank. From the pink ugly houses to the west head north from the left of the houses.

Also head north on under to the new hospital past McMahon. At the light just inside Rio Rancho head west.

I'm on my way to Vegas to do a bunch of mods for "Sincityjets" new jeep. I get back wed os let's talk then. I need to talk to Matson also so I will see what he says. Basicly if your only talking 33" to start (aka stock size) then let's do the metal cloak build as you go project start with the dual rate kit 1199.00 and add the other components when your ready. Also we can do a fender trim like on firemomahawks jeep and you will be good to go for quite a while. And yes the shop is always open!

I'm game for Sunday. Do we want to go to southern then? I haven't been down the backside too far and I've seen some great pics of down there.

Alright guys I've read the threads about cold air intakes and I would like your opinion. Are they really worth the money?
