Sometimes you need to sip on your "hard" cider and let someone else in there who can get $hit done.

Well, since you asked. I got new fenders and cut my bumper, Fred got his air system installed and I'm pretty sure we got your leak mostly fixed. The spring is prolly gonna be bent, go complain to 4wheel parts. Have them pull it and roll it across their shop floor, while you watch.

Oh crap I forgot, burgers, brats, dogs and beer??? DUH?

I called 4 wheel parts today.. and asked about warranty.. not a problem they say.. (spoke with jason) anyway.. he says... take the old ones off and bring them in, i asked why his mechanic who had my jeep on the lift to adjust it didnt notice it when he did NOTHING to it other than suggest i turn my sway bar around?

i then asked was it fair for me to pay a shop to take them off.. bring them down and pick them up when if his mechanic would have looked he would have seen the bad spring.. i was to the point of just saying.. EFFFFFFFFFFFFF it.. and ill buy the new springs and be done with your company.. when he said.. bring your jeep in sat ill have it taken care of..

so my faith in humanity is restored!!! i will have nothing but praise for 4 wheel parts now!

Communication is everything, most people just go away and it seems like those are the odds they're playing. You need to be persistent! What was the name of the shop that hosed your head again?

Update..

New springs.. still almost touching.. now after four wheel parts mechanics i guess you can call them that.. i am not impressed with them AT ALL!

my steering wheel is no long straight.. my jeep logo slants down from 10 to 4.. prior to the 4 wheel parts putting new springs in.. it was 9 to 3 straight across..

any ideas.. i am not going back to that place. at lease not for mechanic work.. the parts guys are nice and i have no complaints..

after being told " get lower profile links for disconnects and to flip my sway bar" from the mechanic.. i have no faith in their ability.. in fact id sooner try and break it my self before taking it back and I'm damn good at breaking stuff!!

so any ideas? simple fix? or am i looking at another alignment or something?

thanks again guys!

Have a look at this: http://www.4x4xplor.com/alignment.html''

That will also tell you how to center your steering wheel. If you are still stumped take it to Albuquerque tire and have Tom (the owner) check it out. His alignment guy is good.

Sorry I didnt say something, thought you liked them, but I for one, dont trust them. They told me I need over $500 worth of work done on my old Toyota and it need about 1 hour worth of work done. Told me my rear spring where bad, because of wheel hop around tight corners and I have a lock diff in the rear.

And code came back along with P0571 brake code.

Ugh.

Ya Bruce I am done with them as far as wrenching. I won't let them touch my jeep ever again.

The brake code is b/c of your steering wheel, fix it and it will go away. Put more gasket sealer on the outside of the header and trade it.

Yeah, you can get a smokin' deal on a '13 right now, then we can take all your lift off and put it back to stock. Fred has enough stock parts for 3 Jeeps.
