Have you SEEN what they did to Cedro?

I was up there doing the run from the trail head off of 14 next to the ranger station up towards Cedro Peak this last week.

Some jackass bladed the trail. The rock obstacles are gone.

It looks like the only section left untouched is trail 13.

The Rangers I encountered claimed it was not the forest service that did it.

Venting. I was really pissed when I saw it. They took out some trees & left the dead hulks along the side of the road.

Anyone have info on who or why?

If the Forest service can't stop a contractor from tearing up the forest with heavy machinery, does that mean we can just wheel wherever we want?

No, I'm not going to start ripping up the woods but the thought entered my mind when I was out there.

Anyway, looking for new places now.

Not sure why the FS would say they didn't do it. Those trails are all maintained (which means periodically graded) by the FS.

They lied to you. Guess they had to make it subaru friendly.

Not cool at all. I wish I knew about the area before a few weekends ago. It's a hidden paradise far from the westside.
