But she's in one piece, and I can rebuild her...

YAY!!! THATS AWESOME!!! How'd they find her? Hope to see ya on the trails soon!!! I wonder what he wanted with every thing? And its good he didn't COMPLETELY tear her apart. Did they catch the guy that stole it? or did he just ditch it?

I would keep an eye on craigslist to see if they try selling what they took. I'd you do, have the cops call and act like they want to but it and hopefully they catch em!

Some one from our church recognized the YJ from an email my wife sent out,
Craigslist will be a bust, he ditched everything he ripped off to change the profile...
Local Cops took the bone head in, he had multiple warrents out for parole violations in AZ, he's only been out of prison for about a month, from multiple counts of Grand theft Auto... go figure

dude thats BA that you got your jeep back, sucks you're missing stuff.. people suck.. put military stickers on your jeep, it helps deter theft.. even criminals have some form of honor.. the old saying "honor amongst thieves" is true..

How neighborhood watch is so simple but effective. Have you been on the trail yet? You'll know if somethings busted when you hit the trail. We were out there yesterday before the snow, conditions were great.

Bull!!! It had Army stickers and MP stickers all over the back window, Army and Marine pins in the visor, oh yah also had a miniture MP Badge on the visor... "Honor amongst thieves" my muscular white butt!

New ignition switch is in, thanks to a buddy that had a spare... still have to get a new Vet Tag before I can drive her... till then she's got the steering wheel, clutch & brake, and roll bar all chained and padlocked military style...
After I get new hardware for the old soft top( also missing ) I can try and figure out the rest of the damage behind the dash, bastard tore out speakers, GPS, stereo, CB... everything
Guess its a good thing I was planing a new dash

Glad to hear you got her back Steeling and defacing a jeep like that should carry the same penalty as horse thieving from the old days… Hang them high…. Sorry, my level of tolerance has greatly diminished over the years. It started to change around the Carter admin.
