Having realized that this is Veterans weekend and Monday the schools and a lot of offices and businesses are closed, how many people are interested in staying Sunday, wheeling and coming back Monday?

Hey NM jeepers
I'm from las cruces and was wondering if y'all going to require what the chile contest requires on the jeep mods? Is this a trip where you pay to be able to ride along with you guys?

I missed the "pay" part. You don't need to pay to ride with us. You just have to be good people. Liking beer helps too.

Oh nice! So how are the trails you guys going to? I was worried about huge damage since I'm still paying my rig and it's also my DD I don't want to break it too much

But other than liking beer Im afraid I cannot buy it since I'm only 19!
I'm totally interested on wheeling with y'all though!

We will not be doing the extreme trails as these are are daily drivers also. We will be posting the itinerary with meet/leave time from the hotel for the LC local folks soon

Stop pretending like you're a beginner. Do you have a Sawzall? Also known as a reciprocating saw. That might be a really good tool to ask Santa for...

Might I suggest contacting someone with the Las Cruces 4wd club? Some of the trails down there are hard to find/find your way home from. You might find someone to lead you around.

I want to thank everyone for their concern with the logistics of this trip. To keep any other distress and concerns about this adventure to a minimum, as with all of our group planned trips a lot of planning has gone into this trip. The main planner has been on these trails, we have been in contact with the president and staff of the Chllie Challenge about coordination, logistics and additional trail support! At this time we are working out details of how many of thier trail leaders are available to come out both days with us for additional knowledge and fun.

As with our other trips this is a family jeeping event, we are looking to have fun, not destroy our rigs, and provide skill options for everyone attending.

Does anyone have an issue meeting at the Isleta Travel Center at 1630 on Friday the 8th? It's the station on the east side of hwy 47 @ the I-25 junction.

I have an issue with it being your idea.

The Trip was some of the best offroading and trails in the state, broke a few parts, popped a couple of tires and everyone had a fabulous time!
