Great time out there today, we had 1 LJ, 1 JKR, 1 JKU, 1 JKUR, 1 XJ and 1 TJ, good mix, another fun recovery when the TJs rear axle wouldn't disengage and had to remove the rear drive shaft to get him out in 4 hi front wheel drive. Not sure who has the pics but im sure they will get put up.

Well hate to say it, but only 2 repeat names. Must be Paul. Lol
Will put up pics tomorrow for what I have. Was fun though and every one got home. Should be a good pic of "somebody" going turtle though.

Showing you how observant I have been..............while putting in frame ties to bumper today and checking everything underneath for wear etc...........I happen to notice my 2 rear shocks are different brands and I already knew the fronts were different.
Paul did you tell me you had a hookup for shocks? 4" lift LJ.

Don't know if the last PM went through or not. Probably just go with the backs now and get the fronts in a couple weeks unless it's a deal breaker. You said the Foxes rode great so probably go that way. Thanks if you need something from me 400 4421

looks like a good time! sorry i missed out.. i went to four wheel parts and for 90 bucks
the mechanic said he adjusted the track bar but the arm was still touching..

odd.. i went in with it touching and left with it touching and it cost me 90 bucks to do that. oh well live and learn..

so i did some checking with the guy i bought it from.. he had a 3 inch lift.. and i have a 4 so thats why its touching.. so in a few weeks i will be selling a set of tera flex quick connects for a 3 inch lift.. lol at a good price...

i should be ready to go in a week or two..

next project.. since it wont cost money.. cept for a few bolts and some sweat..

Run angle iron to the mounts behind the tire carrier and then weld the rack to it. That mount point is designed to handle weight. Anything else would just rip thru the tailgate when you loaded up the rack. Each of those to Jerry cans loaded with water (heavier then gas) weighs 42.25 lbs plus the weight of the can each.

Jt, take a measurement from rear axle tube to front axle tube on both sides and see what you get. I don't think there is any difference in the discos from 3 to 4. I believe the sway bar just sits higher. Measure your discos and I will compare to mine, but Paul and I were talking and suspect a different problem in regards to front axle alignment. If you want to bring it by my house I will help you. 400-4421

Or you can park it on level ground with the wheels straight and measure from the center of the rear hub to the center of the front hub on both sides. That's an easy way to tell how bad it's tweaked.

Most all after market sway bar links are adjustable, maybe I missed it, are yours? I use to adjust mine all the time to add or subtract front flex travel with the sway bar connected, on level ground your sway bar should be perfectly level, if its angled down the links are to small/short, I always ran my swaybar links long and angled up which in your case would draw the links forward and away from the springs. If the measuring from hub to hub is equal, there is always the possibility your spring is bent and the swaybar and links are just fine. If that's the case I have my stock rubicon springs your can run.

My teraflex are one piece and I think his are the same. I thought I was told they work on 2 to4 inch lift but apparently I am wrong. There is something out of whack here I think. (Other than Jt and his rack) maybe its his short arm?
Sometimes I crack me up.

Yea you can measure center of bolt to center of bolt on each upper and each lower front control arms to see if they match.

Thank you for the offer, I am looking at a pair of adjustable links now. Seems the way to go, cheaper than a complete kit.

Hopefully I can get with Fred and you all this weekend over a beer and grilled meat and look at it and my RACK.
