Took a short drive this afternoon

Ended up watching a group of hangliders launch. It is a reasonably good trail up to the top, but the forest Service had recently bladed it, so there was a lot of loose rock, got a little sporty in a couple of spots.

Where were you at NMRubi? If that was Rio Puerco, we've been there quite a few times. We have an 09' 4Dr Sahara Unlimited, they do wonders on the trail.

That is in the foothills right above Alamogordo, with my spotting scope I could see my backyard.
