Put a new radiator, drive belt and cleaned up the front of my 4.0 and painted the useless jack. Pretty huh?

Spent the best $8.00 ever at Lowes on some 4" lag bolts, and grabbed a couple straps i had lying around for my hardtop hoist/storage. Good thing i have a 3 car garage since a little bit of over head room is sacrificed, but a 1 man hardtop removal and install is now easily achieved, i figure ill hit my head on it at least once a month.

Was bored and figured I had a better chance of winning the lottery than lowering my windshield to the hood so I deleted the national geographic hood nipples with some nice round hex head bolts $3 bucks. Then I decided to develop my own drake style hood latches, its my 1st prototype but not to bad after borrowing the basic idea from some others that have tried this. Ill fine tune them a bit still. So far Im into it for $11 bucks a side LOL Just some male and female rod ends, the same most after market sway bar links are made from, strong as hell, and some other odds and ends. If I can produce these for $11 and they charge north of $100, Id guess they make them for $5 bucks is mass quantity and pocket the rest for a nice profit from those willing to pay their ridiculous prices.

Trailer Q- what does mvd require for a homemade trailer?
Lights are working.

Buying a licence plate illuminated bracket this weekend.

It looks like it will cost about $9 to have it weighed.

I need to apply for a vin # and new registration.

Anything I may have missed for NM?

Ive seen the locks in the grill style to keep people out of the engine bay, to lock these would hurt my brain, LOL , if someone takes them ill make another set for $22 bucks.

Yes I do.

So here is version 2, i metal/color matched the hardware, and keep changing my mind on the pin choice. I also can't decide on the leash length I need to make, but think this is a good set up. This pin closely resembles drakes pin design. There is absolutely no pin movement surprisingly. I drove around all day , bumps, turns, stops , vibrations, hi speeds and the pin is good, also the leash is no where near the body to scratch the paint.

^^^^I like this one the best so far^^^

^^^I dislike this pin the most but its the easiest solution.^^^

I can also do Black Anodized, but the shiny pieces contrast well in the black mount i think.
