Any Abilene Area jeepers out there???

My family and I are looking for some jeepers or a local club to get muddy with!

I don't know if there's really any wheeling organizations here, but I know there's a couple places around Kirby and Ft. Phantom that are decent for just playing around. I don't really know of any actual trails, though. I don't get off-road as much as I'd like to, but I'd be willing to go if you need someone to wheel with and my schedule is clear.

I haven't lived in Abilene for years, but grew up there. We used to always head out to Kirby and have a blast. It was decent, and being that it was in a sort of "bowl" we couldn't be seen from the road.

Yeah I like Kirby the best. They are cracking down hard at phantom. I'd like to get some folks out there and just have a day of it.
