cenral Texas off roading

Is there anywhere in the central Texas area good for off roading? A rock crawling area would be nice

Hidden Falls. It is off 1431, about 5 miles from Marble Falls.

LOts of rocks. Trails from very tame to tear your rig up. Yes it is nice, but you need to be with another vehicle and should have recovery gear. IMHO

Do you have pictures of your experiences? And do you live in the area?

I don't have pics, but there is a hidden falls thread on here with lots of pics. I live about 40 mins away. Going this weekend. I was invited to join an FJ Cruiser group outing. I do believe I will be the only Jeep in that group.

Lake Buchannon is very low leaving lots of open area to ride. If your going to get off the used trails don't be alone. The west side of the lake is the best can access at Llano County Park on 262

I watched a few of those videos. What trails do you usually do? And when will be your next trip?

I do almost all the level 3,4 and some level 5 trails depending on trail conditions. I'm not sure when my next trip will be I need to look at my schedule and see when I can fit a trip in.
