Dallas Area

Is there anywhere local to take my new JKU? Kids on spring break and its time to put this thing through its paces. Still stock, so nowhere I can get in too much trouble.

Bridgeport has a nice OHV park, maybe an hour tops from you, thats where i started wheeling when my JK was bone stock. Rock Trails of Tolar is good stuff, its down by Granbury. for a weekend trip I would suggest Barnwell Mountain, its down by Gilmer, maybe 2 hours from you. lots of good camping, they even have a few tiny cabins. our club just had our yearly event there and well....it was epic.

Is barnwell good for stock? All the posts I have seen are with pretty modified rigs.

Yes, Barnwell has trails for every jeep. From stock to crazy modded. The trails are marked really well too. Barnwell is my favorite place.
