Dallas/Ft. Worth Trails

I was wondering if anybody could tell me where some DFW trails are? I have heard there are spots along the Trinity River, but other than that, most mudding spots, trails, off-road parks seem to be 2 hours away.

Might get better luck posting in the Texas thread. There are a few around here and some have been "shut down" and enforced by the police. Let me know as I'm looking for someone new to wheeling, like I am, and we can do an anvil parade haha.

We live in Arlington and there are some trails around 360 & Trinity that are quite popular. We've been 2x and had a blast!

I'm pretty new too. I found this one mudding place, it's not great, and is only about an acre big and is in a really random place for offraoding but it's fun. Anyone know places other than the trinity river areas. Preferably more north. I live in Plano

There is a park off of 360 nearby Post & Paddock Rd in Grand Prairie. You go East on post and paddock and then take a left on N Great Southwest Pkwy and go to the end. There are no signs claiming private property and the cops can only ticket you if they catch you leaving, they can't go into the park. All the times I've been there I've never seen a cop.

There are some great trails there and even a river crossing.

This seems like a decent spot. I went out there yesterday before the storm hit. It was pretty muddy from the recent rain and I actually got stuck shortly after entering so be careful if you're heading out there after a rain. I'd like to explore it a bit more soon.

Was just wondering if anyone had been out to any trails lately? I live near Cabelas and have only been to Bridgeport in my 07 KJ to do some muddin. But I just bought a JK Sport S (no lift) I would love to at least check it out.
