Are you looking at getting Lockers?

Nice guys, but don't know their A$$ from a Hole in the Ground when it comes to business!

Sorry but you just hit a nerve ending regarding 4 Wheel Parts. They over billed my credit card $252.44 and it took many calls and visits in person with the store manager, but he kept putting it off on the sales guy. After 65 Days I got a credit on my card -$41.99 short.

I called up and told them I'll never do business with them and they can take that $41.99 and stick it up their A$$!!!

I only do business with Quadratec now. Sort of sucks because if I need help with my installs they are the only game in town besides "Mike's Off Road" and they are so booked it takes forever to "Get R Done"!

Thinking about getting my wrenchs back out and contacting Quadratec about starting up a full service store in the DFW area? It's been a few years since I turned a wrench, but I loved it!

OK, I'm done now, but I still have a hard on for these guys and might even take it to court!!!

Just my 2 cents!!!

Which Dallas store? I have a bud that wrenches on Jeeps and is reasonable. Not sure how busy he is these days though

I might later on. For now I would just use it to air up my tires. I also like that it's mounted under the hood.

Jeep jamborees are awesome. And it would be a great way to get your feet wet. I highly recommend them. They offer excellent trail guides and you always meet good people. It is also a great way to get your family involved because they have a good family atmosphere.

The coolest part is that you often get to ride trails that are closed to the public. That would be the I only downside to the jamboree in hot springs. I was looking at it recently I think it is hosted entirely at the super lift offroad park in hot springs. Which means that the trails are available year round. Not a real problem, it would still be worth it. But since I won't be able to go on multiple jamborees this year I am thinking about waiting for the TX Spur which runs on closed land.

Wowzers! $195 individual fee, or $450 for family. Think I might have to pass on that. Would rather put the $$ in my Jeep.

There are other, better places; have you ever checked into Baertrax or Screaming Lizard?

I must have missed something. The air at Bridgeport is free.

Even 10% off there is still overpriced. Though if you by several items at a time and pay the over priced installation they will cut you a deal. Though for example, install of a new front bumper is $230. I looked at mike and said really? That's an expensive 8 bolts. But ask for mike he the manager and tell him you know Robby and Tommy and he may cut you a better deal.

Exactly or Tribe 4x4 in Fort Worth is who i would go to. Adam is one of the best fabricators i have ever seen. Not ever had many good dealings with 4wheel parts. If you have a facebook account check out Tribes page. He posts alot of pics of their work.

I have had 4wheel parts do some work and have had a pretty good experience so far.. I do however, take in internet ads on parts and they price match all day long. no issues there, and on work, I have only had them do rudimentary stuff aside from my lift install.

Anyone else feel the earthquake tonight? Apparently the epicenter was here in Irving. Haven't felt one like this since I lived in SoCal!

Only what you can breath in. They have no compressor to my knowledge. After everyone waited in line for air I think many are looking for other options.

When you leave before you pass the building, there is a large commercial compressor inside that is free to use. I used it on the way out.

They only have Dallas, Plano, Coppell and FTW. It's the Dallas location on I-35 and Inspiration.

Don't really have anything to install now but in the future I'll keep in mind.

Thanks,

Yeah like I said the real value comes in getting to wheel untouchable land.

To me it doesn't make much since to pay that money to go to a place that you can get into for $30 a day. But the TX Spur in central TX is a jamboree held at an exotic animal ranch. It is closed to everyone but the jeep jamboree. They have Moab style rocks and looks awesome. That might be worth it if you don't have parts to buy. :-)

What's up David?

Yes Spur would be cool, but still $200 plus hotel and everything else. Gets pricy just to roll your jeep

I'll be danged. I pumped up two tires for 30 minutes then headed to a station. I think most of us missed that they had one. I'll note that for next time.
