I am thinking it would/should.. but no guarantees.. I only say that since you have a 4 banger and mine is a 6.. but it covers the transfer case and I am thinking you have the same transfer case as I do..

I might be a little late but glad to see some DFW peeps on here. I bought my (baby) 06 wrangler x with 4" lift on 33's about a month ago. Looking for some places somewhat close to home to go have some fun. Any suggestions ?

I think they would work great for the kids and they keep out zombies as well... lol

Safari Straps! There is no substitute.

Here is a link to the factory direct. They are IMHO the best on the market:

Keep an eye on this site, as everyone will have a different time that will work for them.

David's group will get there early and be there late. They are going all out on the chilli cook off...

Should be a Great turn out!

Just PM someone with your # to find someone to get you. Or some of us meet out on I-35W and taxi in to Bridgeport together. That's a blast having an Army of Jeeps running down the highway together.

I only got the side windows, but for $90.00 more I should have gotten the extended package. But I didn't want to spent what they wanted for a full warrior cage.

The extended window would work great for you and the kiddo's, but you still have to get the tailgate bar on top of that. I have seen plenty of guys that didn't buy the bar and just used their own creation to tie it down.

I-35 at Basswood works great for me, but we will have to see what everybody else would like to do. Big Mike thought that was too far out of his way last week, so I met him about 7 miles North at the TMS "114" exit.

No big deal for me, but let's see where Davids group wants to meet as they are coming from Alvarado. They should get to choose because they are traveling the most distance.

Hello all,

We are just one week away from our next trip to Northwest OHV Park, Bridgeport, TX.

November 17 is the big day. You can arrive any time you would like but it sounds like most will be getting to the park at or before 9:00am.

If you plan to arrive later than that PM me and I will give you my cell number so you can meet up with us on the trail.

Here are some details and reminders.

I know some people are interested in hitting some of the harder trails and some are not. We will split into two groups so that everyone is able to do what they are comfortable with and want to do.

I have a couple of friends who will be cooking a giant pot of chili at the pavilion so we can all meet up for lunch. If you are interested in eating chili I am recommending bringing a couple of bucks to help offset their costs but that is just a recommendation and how much is up to you.

In vehicle communication can be through 22 channel hand held radios. If you have any don't forget to bring them. Also if you have a CB there will be some people who have those. (I just got done installing mine.)

If you do not have a 2013 TX OHV sticker make sure to get one this week. You can get into the park without one but you risk a fine if the dept. of wildlife decides to check that day. A list of places to purchase one can be found here http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/ohv/buy.phtml

It is also a good idea to bring any recovery gear you have, tow straps, winch, jack, etc. however we can share if someone needs it. Also there will be a couple of winches there.

The other think to think about is any weather related clothing or equipment ie. sunscreen, raincoat, jacket etc.

If you are interested in driving to the park in convoy you have a couple of options. There is a group meeting at 7900 FM 917 Alvarado, at 7:00am. We will head up 35 to 287 and then 114. Or if you would like to meet up with us along the way PM me for my cell number. We should arrive at the park between 8:00-8:30. We will be unloading and preparing for the trail near the gate house until 9:00 or a little after.

I think that covers about everything.

I hope to see you all there.

Well come out to Bridgeport on the 17th and see what she will do stock, then you can figure out what mod's you want to get 1st. You can see what everyone else has got and get 1st hand advise on what and what not to do.

Sorry I've been out of pocket. I've been busy with TexasJK. We went to the Big Paw Crawl up in Clayton, OK. That places is unreal! So many guys broke their rigs. I stayed on the "easy" path and still managed to do damage to just my bumpers and exhaust, luckily!

I'm planning on going out to Tolar the Saturday after Thanksgiving with LSJC.

I hear it's pretty tame. That's what I need after Clayton!

Hey Matt,

What's up? Since you are in Mansfield why not follow Davids group leaving from Alvarado out to Bridgeport on the 17th?

Hey David,

Why not meet our little group at I-35W @ Basswood around 7:30-8:00am? I hope you don't get in the traffic jam you got the last time you went through Cowtown.

I think a convoy would be way too cool?

What say you?
