I'll be there Thursday. Just look for the silver jk and the white armored jk and the white molester van. That's us

Looking like the weather will be pretty ideal. I was afraid it would be triple digits....

Well, on Friday we did make a wrong turn and started down an ATV trail, which quickly became too narrow to pass through, so after turning around, I got caught where I had a small tree between the step on my nerf bar and the rear fender flair, but Mike guided me out of it. Then, as Kim and I were leaving the park to head back to the hotel around 10p, I get out on the highway and my Jeep just dies. Mike and Cat were good enough to come out to check on us, and after looking at everything, Mike figured it out and got us going again.
Then on Sat, we were on a 3 rated trail (3 out of 5) and we are about to climb up a very difficult area, and we come upon a fellow in a Range Rover, really stuck on the climb. He had damaged his exhaust and was really stuck, his winch was also stuck too. However, Mike gave him some guidance and he was finally able to make his way up the climb.
Then Mike went and he got stuck and was teetering on having his Jeep roll over sideways. Mike was perpendicular to the trail at this point and his seat belt was locked in the retracted position. The Range Rover fellow, came back down from above and hooked up a tow strap (well actually 2 tow straps) and yanked Mike around so that he was in a more parallel position. I then climbed around Mike to the top and turned around to get ready to winch Mike to a spot where he would be able to climb up. However, Mike was able to back down a bit and take the same line as I did up the hill.
I have to say, if this was a level 3, it was the most difficult 3 I have ever encountered. (This was a 4 all day long in my book)

Still up in the air. For all details but Check Facebook for the latest info. Usually we meet at 8am at Albertsons in Weatherford leave by 8:15am Meet a few in Springtown about 8:30. And try to be at the Bridgeport Offroad Park at 9am - 9:15am Usually once 1 person gets there they post where they are located inside the park and we all meet there. Try to be on trails between 10:30am and 11:00am Family radios are used generally on channel 6 817-229-6835. If you have any questions If we get a list of people turned in by Wed. They give us a discount to get in.

I want to get as many people there as we possibly can. We will be taking a group photo for the new website. Www.dfwcrawlers.com So we want everyone there. Atleast for the panoramic photo of all the rides.

817-229-6835. For any questions. --JD

never ran into you Dboat. never saw the range rover that you speak of either. Barnwell needs to update their trail ratings. A lot of the 4's should be 5's. Dewoody is clearly a 6 now, the only person to even attempt it was Chris from Mike's off-road, he eventually got it.

ran into a random guy driving a gecko JK who ran with us for a bit until he "flopped" in clydes ravine. his hardtop saved him from any damage. his wife wasnt happy so they bailed.

spent most of last night replacing a rear driveshaft on a crazy incline....

Mike was camped at Rovers, way in the back. We rode most of the trails in the back on Friday and rode up front most of the time on Sat. We left the trails around 4p on Sat and then packed up and headed home. The place was pretty quiet while we were there.. didnt see much of anyone for the most part. The Range Rover guy is from the Dallas area too. But some of those trails were a bit more than I would have guessed. We feel comfortable with trails up to a 3. Well, Mike is comfortable with more difficulty than I am, but the variability of the trails from the markings was huge, IMHO. Sorry we missed ya.

Wouldn't start...going to put in a new distributor cap this weekend. And try other things if needed.

I don't have room to upload the file.

I'll text it to ya, and you can Dana.
