I usually say 10 but unless people tell me they are going, it's usually closer to whenever.

I too vastly prefer rocks. And I don't like mud holes, but I'll hit them if there in my way. But a muddy trail is fun and fine by me. Especially if it gets me to more rocks.

I have a possible dilemma. I entered a mountain bike race for this sat. It's a 62 mile race that I am really looking forward to doing, and this one comes around once a yr. Anyway, it's probably rained out for Sat, but will be moved to the 19th. Haven't decided yet what to do if it is in fact canceled, as I was really looking forward to camping. Who's all going down south? I know Dana and I had talked about camping together down there.

I'm wearing compression socks right now for gosh sake! Trying to save my legs just in case. lol

Mike, it's not a hard decision. Hidden Falls, Bridgeport, etc can be done most anytime. Once a year events are exactly that. Once a year. You would only miss my comfy chair. Lol.

Just checked the weather. 50% chance of rain here on Saturday. Rain next week in Marble Falls next week, but clear Fri and Sat, however a bit chilly high of 50 with a low of 33

I do have 4wd. Just don't like having to clean mud off my Jeep. I like a clean Jeep. Yes, you won't understand.

Oh I understand. Application is another issue. I'll write D A N A in the dust on my dash. LOL
Things might be looking up for me on this race. I got an email today saying they would make a decision on it tomorrow by noon. If it's postponed, a vote from applicants as to another date when it will be scheduled will be done. Not necessarily going to be the 19th. Hopefully I get to do both. Oddly enough my mountain bike is very clean....at the moment.

You are too funny. Well I hope you and your son will be sharing y tent at Hidden Falls. If not, it's understandable. Btw, do you hire out to detail Jeeps?

What is this detail you speak of? Bring your Jeep to my house, we'll park it in my yard, put a sprinkler underneath it for a little while and call it a day
