Gear install recommendations DFW

I am looking to have my 99 re-geared. Does anyone have any shops in the Dallas area they would recommend?

I currently have the Dana 35/30 with 3.07’s, and am running 31" tires. I am thinking of going with 4.11's since I don't think I will be going bigger than 32" in the future. Any feedback is welcomed.

My recommendation is join the LSJC forum. Great group of guys and gals. There are also a few members who do regearing. I've heard lots of good things about baertrax

They did my 4.56's in August; very happy with their work!

I am very happy with Screamin Lizzard, and super happy with my 4.11's. I did not realize how bad the 3.07 and 31" tires were. It drives like a different jeep.

I have a 2013 JKU with a 2.5" lift, 35" tires on 16" wheels.

Total cost for the re-gear at Screamin' Lizard was just under $1500 (can't remember exact price now).

When you change gears Im assuming you have to change front and rear? My jeep is at the shop right now. I was hearing this clicking noise and it would bet louder depending on speed. When I wasn't accelerating the noise would disappear, basically only when I was stepping on the gas. I have so much done to the jeep that Im afraid that it wont be covered under warranty. If the gears/pinions are bad then I would like to change my gears to 4.88. I have 3.5 lift and 35" tires. I'm possibly going up to 37 in a few years.
