my buddy does them at his shop but i don;t know what they charge, well, he farms them out. trucker's world is his shop.

if you want to try them out yourself, and have the instructions and special tools, i will help. i haven;t done vehicle gears but i have done gear patterns and end play/back lash on gearboxes for helicopter engines. i have read its not hard but just haven;t done it myself

Oh yea btw there's a "wheelers for the wounded " ride in marble falls may 4-6 if anyone wants to go. I plan on going then i called the park owners today and asked them how is it and they said its been turning out pretty good over the past 4 yrs. about 200 or so rigs go out and ride.If anyone else is up to go let me know we can all drive up there.

That wasn't me but I was on the beach yesterday (just inside the second entrance, newport pass??) and ooohhh man was it ever a perfect day for the beach. Saw some people also getting stuck in their vehicles. My buddy yanked out a big chevy truck that didn't believe that my friend's mostly stock TJ could get him out. His exact words were, "I don't think you have enough ass end on that thing to get me out but we'll give it a try." It only took two pulls to get that truck out and he could have made it out on the first pull if the driver had his foot on the dang pedal. It was a good moment, made me feel good about my own.
I've been wanting to go to the "bowl" also just to check it out. Don't know if it's legal or not to drive "through" it. I read somewhere on this thread, I think, that it wasn't legal but I also read that it was. Is there any official way to find out this information???
Saw a bunch of jeeps at the beach, hell my buddy and I were parked between two other jeeps. I keep forgetting to make some flyers and pass them out as I see jeeps around town. Maybe this week I'll start.

This can't be all the jeeps that attended last year, was it? The flyer mentions 5th annual. How was the attendance in the past years?

I called the Balli Visitor center and the lady that answered said it IS illegal to drive in the dunes. Period. But there are tire tracks all throughout the "bowl" so I guess people still do it. Then again....people go fishing in Yorbrough Pass and you have to drive up and over the dunes to get there....so where's that logic?

"ҭђє в๏ฬใ" is actually in kleberg county. I have talk ed to a police officer buddy of mine and he said that the county of kleberg has signed a waiver allowing ccpd time patrol the area, and unless people ate acting/driving foolishly, the police will not likely harass us in the bowl itself. There are some tails that go into the dunes that should not be driving on......just saying.

I figured as long as nobody was being an ass they would pretty much just leave people alone that were back there. So I will continue to do it till an authority figure tells me otherwise.

Ok Peeps we need to know how many are going to Snoopy's afterwards. So I started a new thread. If we have more then 15 people we need to reserve our spot at Snoopy's. Talked to the owner this morning when I was delivering there.
