I am a new jeeper, with a JKUR wanting to get out in a group and do some wheeling. I am near Relaint stadium.

Hey!

New member and new 1990 YJ owner. Found this thread while googling Houston jeep clubs to see if there was already a group established.

I'd love to get together with a group to learn and shoot the breeze.

Hi All,

Just about every local Jeep club is gathering this weekend for Worldwide Go Topless Day on Crystal Beach.

You can either take the Ferry over or take I-10 East to Winnie then head south to 87, take a right and then head to Crystal Beach area.

You need a $10 decal to park on the beach and they're available just about everywhere around the peninsula.

I realize this is an old thread. I am just wondering if this Houston area group ever got off the ground? Are you still meeting/wheeling? I am a Sugar Land, Texas resident and am looking for a friendly group to wheel with.

Check out South Coast Jeeps and Houston Jeep Freaks on Facebook. I am a member of both (they share events). They are both closed groups so you need some Jeep photos in you profile or you might not get accepted as a member. There is plenty of mostly drama free family friendly wheeling with these groups.
